Getting inspired by the success of its bestselling “budget-friendly” Galaxy-A series, Samsung appears to launch another mid-range smartphone “Galaxy A54”, say the experts. It is the successor of Samsung’s Galaxy A53, widely accepted among smartphone lovers over the globe. Few experts think it’s a bit early for “Samsung” to launch the “Galaxy A54 5G”, while its predecessor, Galaxy A53 is still in demand. The Galaxy A54 5G is expected to come early in 2023 with few modifications than its predecessor, Galaxy A53. There will be changes in the camera section along with the “CPU”. The Internet is flooding with rumours Samsung is about to launch its new “budget-friendly” smartphone Galaxy A54 5G in 2023. “Geekbench” has supported this news indirectly as we have spotted an entry in their online database. We have seen entries regarding one Samsung upcoming smartphone in “Geekbench’s online database as “Samsung SM-A546B”. The prototype has managed to get a 776 single-core score and a stunning 2599 multi-core score as well. It is rumoured that one of the versions of the “Galaxy A54 5G” may come with 6GB RAM, though the 8GB RAM option is likely to be available, too. It will run on Android 13. The design of the “Galaxy A54 “ is pretty much familiar with a set of triple rear cameras, thin bezels, and a centre-positioned selfie camera in a punch-hole at the front. The rear triple camera does not sit flush with the back of the phone, rather slightly protruding. As per “OnLeaks”, there will be an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to have a “Power-Button” and “Volume controller” buttons on the right side. Like its predecessor, Galaxy A53, Speaker, microphone, and USB Type-C port are placed at the top. While the secondary microphone and SIM-Ejector tray are placed at the bottom. Samsung has placed its “Logo” at the back with the “Led” flash and “triple” cameras.
The “OnLeaks” says Galaxy A54 gets a “6.4” inches display. Though, many experts say the display size will be 6.6 inches. The display is expected to be a super “AMOLED” display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Samsung A54 may measure roughly 158.3 x 76.7 x 8.2mm, says the “OnLeaks”. The others experts and leakers are silent regarding the handset’sdimensions and weight.

Regarding the performance, GeekBench gave us important clues. We can be sure that Samsung is going to unveil the successor of “Galaxy A53”, as it is the GeekBench’s database where the news has surfaced.
The prototype has managed to get 776 (GeekBench single-core score) and a stunning 2599 (GeekBench multi-core score). I think it is pretty much impressive for a “midrange” smartphone. As per “GeekBench”, Samsung is going to use the S5E8835 chipset. I think it is the successor of “Exynos 1280”, a fair chance to be officially named “Exynos 1380”. This chipset is combined with an “Octa-Core” processor, codenamed “S5E8835” in the GeekBench database. The “Octa-Core” processor has a “4” Plus “4” configuration.“Four” of the “Eight” cores have been clocked at “2.40Ghz”, certainly it’s the performance core. The rest, the remaining 4 cores, cores seem to be the “Efficiency” core as reported to have clocked at 2.0 GHz.
Also, GeekBench has given clues about the “RAM”. The Galaxy A54 may have two variants, one with a 6GB RAM option and the other with 8GB RAM.
Samsung will use Android 13, certainly with the One UI skin top, to run the Galaxy A54 5G.
The handset is expected to power with a 5000mAh battery.
The GeekBench says that the Samsung A54 will be packed with 25W fast charging.
Well, I do not guarantee that all the speculation will prove true. We have to wait a couple of weeks more to find the facts and figures. But, I can assure you that if you are looking for a midrange, budget-friendly Samsung handset with 5G enabled, Samsung A54 is the best one to grab. The Galaxy A5x series got a proven track record. This time also, Samsung A54 not going to disappoint us.
