Both the iPhone 14 base models, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus offers a 12 “Megapixel” main camera with a comparatively larger sensor, a more powerful “TrueDepth” front camera, an ultra-wide lens to capture a wider scene, and a new “Photonic” engine for best low-light performance.
Apple has introduced “Photonic Engine” to increase mid-to-low-light performance for photos and videos, up to 2x on all the lenses but 2.5x on the main lens. Photonic Engine technique helps to have better quality through “Deep Fusion” applied in the image process. Photonic Engine enables iPhone 14 series to preserve details, better colour, and subtle textures in videos and photos.
Both iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus includes the following features:
· A new Main Lens offers a larger ƒ/1.5 aperture and 1.9 µm pixels. This means capturing photos and video in all lighting scenarios to get better detail and motion-freezing, less noise, and a sensor-shift optical image stabilization facility.
· A new selfie“TrueDepth” lens with a ƒ/1.9 aperture that boosts low-light performance for photos and video both.
· A new Action-mode for snapping smooth video that is free from significant shakes, vibrations, and motion, even when you are shooting video in the middle of the action.
· The Ultra Wide lens captures a wider frame even in low-light conditions with the support of a Photonic Engine.
· The latest True Tone flash is 10 per cent brighter than the previous one to offer more consistent lighting.
· Cinematic mode is now even available in “4K” at 30 fps & “4K” at 24 fps.
· Apple offered End-to-end Dolby Vision HDR technology, available only on iPhone.
iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Plus: Crash Detection technology and Emergency SOS service via Satellite:
Apple has introduced the latest “Crash detection” technology that can even able to detect severe car crashes and automatically dial the authority for emergency service, while users are unable to do so for injuries. Both the iPhone 14 base models are equipped with a “Dynamic” range gyroscope and “Dual-Core” accelerometer, able to detect up to 256Gs, to run the “Crash-Detection” service. Also, Apple designed “advanced motion algorithms” based on “million” hours of practical car-crash record data to perfect the technology and provide accurate service.

Also, Apple provides another latest technology to connect directly to satellites to send emergency “SOS” messages when users are outside of Wi-Fi or cellular coverage. This is a real breakthrough service through which user can manually share his/her location through “satellite” even when is out the Wi-Fi or cellular coverage.
For the USA and Canadian users, the “Emergency SOS via Satellite” service will be available for free for two years from November 2022.
Sending a message through the “Emergency SOS via Satellite” service may take minutes as satellites are moving fast and use low bandwidth. That is why Apple has designed a few questions to assess the severity of the “emergency” situation. After answering the questions, iPhone will instruct the user on how to connect with the nearest satellite.

It uses 16-Core “Neural Engine” which can perform 15.8 trillion operations/second. A15 Bionic ensures smooth graphics for video and high-performance gaming. Now, the iPhone is faster than ever regarding high graphics gaming, online video streaming, multitasking, and third-party app experiences.
iPhone 14 and Environment issues:
Apple is today totally “Carbon-Neutral” for its corporate operations over the globe. By 2030, Apple has plans to become 100% “Carbon-Neutral” for not only its all product life cycles but all the manufacturing and supply chain processes all over the globe.
iPhone 14 is manufactured in a way so that it has minimum effect on the environment. iPhone 14 uses a 100 per cent “up-cycled” plastic water bottle for its “Antenna–lines”. All the magnets, including one used in MagSafe, are made of 100 per cent rare earth elements. The “Taptic Engine” has 100 per cent recycled tungsten. Both the iPhone 14 base models have 100 per cent recycled tin in the solder of all the circuit boards used. All the wires of the camera and plating of the circuit boards are made of 100 per cent recycled gold.
