Aquos R7 certainly can claim its Camera as a prime attraction. Sharp has made it possible with the active collaboration of “Leica”. The rear lens, a nearly one-inch huge sensor, has a 47.2-megapixel resolution with a fast f/1.9 aperture and 19mm equivalent focal length. The lens supports an LED flash. The latest All-pixel-Octa-PD autofocus feature ensures doubled fast “AF-speed” compared to a conventional autofocus system. What is the extra mileage of “All-Pixel-Octa-PD” autofocus? This feature offers a quick focus on “moving” objects. Also, this feature senses the face, eyes, and whole body of a person in real-time effortlessly. The main sensor supports “4x” Zoom and stunning “8K” video recording.

The official pictures reveal another second rear lens with the main sensor. But, still, we do not have any details of this lens. But the rumor is the second lens got a 19MP resolution. There is a “selfie” camera at the front with a 12.6MP resolution. There is a “punch-hole” notch, placed centrally as per the officially rendered image, to house the “selfie” camera with the “in-display” fingerprint sensor.

Let’s discuss the rest of the features, which are also worth discussing. The display technology that sharp offers with its flagship are pretty much impressive. Hardly will you find any handset with a 240Hz refresh rate. Sharp Aquos R7 sports an “IGZO OLED” display with 2730 x 1260 (FHD+) resolution. The Aquos R7 implements variable refresh rate technology that allows the display resolution to drop even 1Hz depending upon the “screen-context”. Also, the display technology can brighten up the screen even at 2000nits, which is the “peak-brightness” level offered.

The Sharp uses a “Snapdragon-8th Gen chip” to power the Aquos R7. The Aquos R7 sports a 5000mAh battery. 12 GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This handset also supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, 802.11ac, USB-Type-C port, and NFC. We haven’t heard of any wireless charging facility. Aquos R7 also got the IP68 certification which means the handset is water-resistant and dustproof.
